because there are a lot of people that arent 21 on the site. a DINNER meet is a dinner meet, not a bar meet. we did a bar meet at strange brew last week, they also have food and tables and junk, but there are many people who would not be able to go.

theres no issue, i just clicked no because its a long drive for me. so don't target me because i want DINNER meets (ie chilis, tgif, etc) where everyone and their mom can go, and if you want, get a drink.

Not targeting just bustin balls... You say we needs more dinner meets and then your the first to RSVP no, just thought it was funny. I understand what you mean and when you said it I was like Oh yea Rich isn't 21 yet. ... wait yea he is..lol he goes to millie's. Myself and I think a couple others are a little board with the Manch tgif, chillis, etc. Need something New to entice people.

I onestly forget all about needing to be 21 to get into places, it always slips my mind .

But we order Dinner ?? lol We have been meeting at sullies and car pooling there. It's not really that far, takes us 45 min and we always stop at the gas station off exit 9. I know your place is like another 20min.. I got a open Room and bed at my place you could alway crash.

We go to eat dinner... How is that not a dinner meet!? It's a British based "pub" they have a huge dining section with a full menu. So again, how is it not a dinner meet.... There are a ton of resturants in the world that are 21+....

because its not an open event. there are people here that have signifigant others who are younger, some people who are 21+ that don't go to bars at all, etc. im not saying its a bad idea, but a dinner meet is usually a sit down at a restraunt type deal. one of the largest dinner meets i have been to from this site was last fall (08) and i believe natasha had her younger sister go, too, to longhorn i believe. so this limits the amount of people to go by age, personal reasons, etc. i can go on all day with this. yes it can be the coat of arms meet, but not really a big dinner meet like the other ones we have put together.

im not saying dont do it by all means it sounds wicked fun and ive heard great things, but dont sit here and tell me its the same thing as going to fridays or chilis or whatever.

you're missing the point. its a BAR meet. 21+ and drinking = bar. just like our Brew meet last week. 21+ drinking. like 7 people went, and were in separate groups because its crowded. totally different environment.
