Remember if you are coming just to watch and you want something to eat, I MUST KNOW BY SUNDAY AT 4PM.
The store will be shut down prior to this event so the food will be made before we close the grill and cold sub units.

So Justin and I were talking about how we are going to be eating all of this food and in our backyards we have people wondering where their next meal is coming from. That isn't something we want to have people worry about. So if you come can you bring a canned item and we will make sure it gets donated to a soup kitchen in the area. Don't be lame and bring something you wouldn't want to eat either.

I've tried to donate excess bread and such to them before but they decline it- has to be packaged. yet people are starving. way to go!

we donated leftover pastries when I did my 6.5 years at starbucks... and they would not pick it up for two days, then complain its stale. come on! we wrapped 'waste' pastries in saran wrap, neatly packed it in bags on the day they were to pick up. two days later they pickup then say its stale.

ugh.

anyway I have a couple cans of stuff at home i'll bring.

I also picked up a $25 tractor supply gift card today which will go to the 2nd place finisher (since I'm going to win). Of course if the unthinkable happens and I don't win, It goes to the winner.

I have in laws in from out of town for the weekend, so there is a great chance that my wife, mother in law, sister in law, and brother in law, will be coming to watch me beat all of you other eaters....
