NEMS Midnight Run!! Fall 2009

t's a midnight cruise. Not exactly like the kanck where everyone goes flat out but these roads are alot of fun even at a moderate pace. So yes there will be plenty of spirited driving but no need for 100+mph speeds. The majority of the roads are like bear notch rd and hurricane mt road...

The back roads will spread across seabrook, Hampton falls, Kensington, Kingston, Danville, Exeter, stratham, Newmarket, Durham, Dover, newington, portsmouth, new castle, rye, north Hampton, an end on Hampton beach..

It's around 110 miles and will end around 1am.

Some roads included will be bay rd in Newmarket, long pond rd in Danville, rt 1a and 1b along the seacoast, rt 107 from seabrook to Kingston, and I forget the name the road in Kingston but it's amazing!


Ok the date is set in stone and it gives people plenty enought time to ask for the next day off or the night off or whatever..

We will be meeting up at the Seabrook walmart. the address is

meet up time is at 9pm.

we will plan on leaving at 10pm.. that gives people some time to get gas, food, ect.

I have the map but I would like to keep the specific route a secret. That's how it's done with the miata run and that's how I will do it. If any seacoast guys want to meet up at some point before and do the route in the day and act as leaders if the group gets split up plz PM me and we can go over it. Aaron(general) and redblur? I beleive know this route because they have miatas and have done the run before with them. I'm sure they will chime in and say their thoughts on it.

Feel free to invite your friends but since this is the first time doing this let's try and keep it only. Don't post up on every forum like the kanck cruise. Last spring the miata run had 16 miatas an we all stayed together just fine but idk how 100+ cars would hold up. I will print out a map and hand them out at walmart incase anyone gets lost or decides to leave in the middle of it..

And if anyone wants feel free to bring walkie talkies. It added more fun on the miata cruise listening to people joke around

Since it's obviously a long trip there will be breaks in between to let people stretch and take pics or the bathroom or for whatever reason.

we have barely had any issues with the police so far. we ran into a couple and one waited for us at a gas station but nobody got pulled over, then again we were in miatas haha

We actualy went by a couple at a good rate of speed and they didn't stop us. Like I said before it's not an all out race. The speed limits are mostly 30 and we will do like 50 on them. I can do that during the day and not get pulled over.

The lack of information is really a turn off. seems like the select few talking about it know whats going on, and everyone else is like WTF screw it. That just may be my view since I have no idea what this is all about except it is late at night through the seacoast area and some spirited driving might happen.

It's a cruise! We do the kanck cruise in the spring and fall an I wanted to do this inbetween them. We will be driving on twisty back roads at a decent pace.
