Completely would be somewhat likely, because you have such a clean record, but don't go in planning on that. talk to the prosecutor tell him how important having a clean record is to you and that if there is any way that we could work something out that it would be in your best interest. When I was in court in salem a few times I saw a few people go before me with clean records, mostly pleading that they will not let it happen again and it was a fluke thing because the judge looks at your record after the prosecutor and if he sees that it is clean then he might take your side on it and understand. however, the judge could be a dick and do nothing for you, but most of the time if you're polite and respectful they'll see that as cooperation and help you out.

I have two paid tickets for non-inspection... still a pretty clean record without any speeding tickets and only two parking tickets. And no, I've never been arrested or anything like that.

x2, don't EVER admit fault like that, the judge isn't an idiot. just say your sorry and be polite/respectful and say you hoped to keep a clean record and hope for the best. GL with it.

What I am really trying to say is it is already a dangerous road because the normal traffic is always cruising well over the limit, which makes it difficult to merge without having someone slam into you coming off the ramp. But I don't know, I guess I'll just go in and explain I had a lot of things on my mind and a $200 fine won't help, and it won't happen again realizing how pricey it is.

So, I just send the ticket in, asking for a date basically right?

What exactly do I do to fight the ticket? Obviously send it in as needing a court date.
My defense will be that EVERYONE does 50+ on that road, and when I come off the ramp EVERY SINGLE DAY, I have to stay ~40 to 45 to avoid causing traffic problems, otherwise I get stuck at the ramp waiting to merge, which causes people to back up behind me.
So every time I hit the ramp I cruise ~45, but of course this time with no cars there at all, there are two bike cops... ugh. And I was doing 52 they say, but I doubt it, I usually don't rev my motor up that high in 3rd when just cruising home.

You think that'll work? I mean, the fine was $200 because it was 21+ over (52 in 30) but the next step down under 20mph over is only $100, but I think my reasoning could maybe help me out more? Especially first speeding ticket?

your defence should be that you have never been pulled over for speeding and a good record.... you wont need to goto a trial if you cut a deal with the prosecutors 1st.... theyll look at your record and prolly bump it to like $100 or something.... trust me you wont even have to put up a fight.... just be like..... "cmon man $200!!!!!"

I dont know how it is in NH but i fought a ticket in MA and went early to do that and ended up sitting there for 20 minutes, then they called my name.

I just noticed something tonight... wondered why I never knew it was a 30mph zone.

There is 3 lanes, into 2 lanes, and not a single speed posting, from the highway ramp or even further up where my wife works at Dartmouth Hitchcock.

Seriously... that much distance, such a busy area, and 2 to 3 lanes wide, no signs?

This wont work. I got a ticket and happened to be learning acceleration and speeds equations in my Physics class and thought that they might be impressed if i throw some physics at them to prove that my car can't even go that fast in a short amount of time.

... here was there immediate response... "So will you be paying this today or do you need more time?"
