It's been real good these last 3 weeks.

So good, now the THIRD week in a row of Best Monday ever.
Yep, we beat last week, which beat the week before. Good times.

Oh and like I said before, the busier we get, or stay at the same level we are at, the more free stuff I can give out. Went pretty basic this week, 3 $15 gift certificates and one $25 certificate.

First speeding ticket on my way home, ever...

Ugh.

$200. Like I can afford that right now.

Hell of an ending to such a good day, that just ruined my MONTH. Grr.
52 in a 30... Getting off exit 8, heading down towards bridge street. 30 mph zone, are you kidding me... ugh. 21+ mph over, and it's $200. If I was doing 49, I'd be only $100. So freakin unhappy right now, now all my OTHER bills are going to be late...

I'd like to fight it, but what's it gonna get me, a day out of work and end up paying the full fine?

Fitz - I only have pics from 2 weeks ago. I didn't get a lot of time out there tonight - plus the camera battery was dead. Will get it out next week.

Still, even 52 is nothing on that road. 11 at night, nobody around? Seriously. Not I am screwed, because two bike cops couldn't give me a freakin break, even bump it down to $100 if it was under 20mph over... errr... 30 zone for Wellington Road, yeah, right.

I got a 52 in a 30 in manch 1st week of April... The 1st "mediation" I have is aug 14th! And I can just hgo cut a deal... With my record they won't cut me slack but if that's really ur 1st ticket ever... I say fight it and go talk to the prosecutors (prolly in oct! Lol) and they'll prolly knock it down or something for u

Other than a ticket for non-inspected vehicle, never got anything more than a parking ticket.

ya I was in manch literally last week for arraignment fighting a ticket I talked to the prosecutor and he said if we deal with this today and take care of it then he could give me the minimum fine required by the state which was $250 (87 in a 55, normally a $400+ ticket) and I took it so I'm sure they might be able to work a deal with you

yeah there is nothing to lose when you fight a ticket. Worse case scenario you pay the full amount 3 months later.

I had a good time, snapped some pictures and bailed though to try to make our meet on time. I promise I will get there earlier next week and ill give those lazy Audi guys crap for not showing.

What exactly do I do to fight the ticket? Obviously send it in as needing a court date.
My defense will be that EVERYONE does 50+ on that road, and when I come off the ramp EVERY SINGLE DAY, I have to stay ~40 to 45 to avoid causing traffic problems, otherwise I get stuck at the ramp waiting to merge, which causes people to back up behind me.
So every time I hit the ramp I cruise ~45, but of course this time with no cars there at all, there are two bike cops... ugh. And I was doing 52 they say, but I doubt it, I usually don't rev my motor up that high in 3rd when just cruising home.

You think that'll work? I mean, the fine was $200 because it was 21+ over (52 in 30) but the next step down under 20mph over is only $100, but I think my reasoning could maybe help me out more? Especially first speeding ticket?

Think I can get out of it completely, is that possible?
