Im doing this in hopes of helping George get a few things kickstarted. I checked out the group rates yesterday at work, so basically in order for this to happen, we need to find out EXACTLY who will be going and who wont bail out. It is a minimum of 25 people to get a group rate. The group rate is $21 PER PERSON. Saving you $14 for a regular admission. So we need to do a preliminary guest list to even see if it would be worth trying to really plan something. I believe George made tentative dates of August 22nd or 29th? (I would recommend a saturday because A) you get all day in the park and B) there are decent fireworks at 930 if you want to stay that late.
Please remember, if you sign up for "Yes" that means you ARE GOING. If you are unsure please dont RSVP. I only say this because, there will be many unhappy people when 6 out of 30 people dont show up (causing the group rate to be unavailable)
The park gates open at 10:30 AM and the rides start at 11. Does any one have a time that they would like to meet up (say Longhorn/TGIF in manchester) and we can all cruise over there together? If people started showing up at say 930-945 Itll give some time to hang out, chit chat, and let those late bloomers to show up. Then head out of there around 1015-1030.
