FIRST EVER... USA subs weekly cruise night

Alright guys, my buddy Doug owns the USA Subs in Salem, NH. He's setting up a weekly cruise night starting this Monday.

WHEN: Mondays, starting 06.22.09 5:30pm - 8:30pm

All are welcome to join in the fun. He's looking for the first night to be a big success as he'll likely have the lot next to his (Victorian Park) to use next time if the owner of said lot is impressed.

We're looking for about 20 "show worthy" vehicles (cars, trucks, bikes, lawnmowers, whatever!) for Monday. Keep in mind, show worthy can mean anything interesting that you've done to your vehicle (like a CarPC ). Not really looking for Honda Nation to show up either. CLEAN Honda's are one thing, but the ricer crowd that usually populates dunks in manch isn't really what we're looking for.

There will also be all kinds of FREE stuff too!

Cats tickets, Canobie Lake Park passes...
Best in show contest, prize to be determined.
Free frozen lemonade all night long for ALL the people that bring vehicles to show.
Show your car 3 times or more this season, get a free sub!

Sounds like a pretty good idea. We used to do this years ago at BK but it was mostly muscle cars. I may take a swing up if the car isn't acting funny.

Hi guys, just registered up.
My name is Doug - I am one of the owners of USA Subs in Salem and the one responsible for getting this cruise night up and running.

We are hoping to get this running well so that every Monday throughout the summer we can keep it rolling, and bring it back year after year.

Like Andy said - we aren't looking for 7 color Civics with a potato rocket pipe, or an Ebay intake kit. Like my car. haha!

We will be very lenient on the types of cars coming in so we can get this show going. But we definitely don't need any CRX's blowing smoke in the parking lot either.

For instance, one of my coworkers has a friend with a 500HP Mustang he will be bringing.
We might even be able to get the guy that owns the Ghostbusters wagon to come down. I have a friend with some custom trikes too.

Anyway, hope some of you guys can come down and make it a regular meet. If it gets big enough, we can open up the back area (Nassar Landscaping's parking lot basically) and might even convince Larry who owns Victorian Park to open his lot up to us.

I do need you to call or email me to verify you are coming and what you are bringing - even if it is late Sunday night. The way this meet page is set up, it only works for one date, being this Monday. We plan on doing it EVERY Monday. We may not need to know every week who and what is coming, but we DO need to know for this first session - as we have limited space for the first show.

So I look forward to hearing from you guys, and can't wait for Monday!

Friday is WAYYYY too busy at the shop for sure.
Especially if it gets as big as we want it to.
Not on Tuesday because Rosies down the street is Tuesday.
Not on Thursday because the Elks around the corner is Thursday.

Wednesday is tentatively a rain date for Mondays.

If I get enough RSVP's... and they DEFINITELY show up...I might just make up a party sub for everyone to split...
