OK everyone...
I just talked to Doug. We're gonna do this thing, rain or shine.
I know of a few of us that will be there even if it's pouring out. Worst case scenario, we all enjoy some great food inside and talk cars for a bit. We can all discuss our opinions on how to run this weekly cruise night as we go forward too.
Hope to see you all there.Owner - Fully Assed Graphics

Anyone who's game to come down, do so!
I really don't want the first night dead in the 'water' so to speak! Literally!
I understand a lot of 'car show' folks don't bring out the bling-bling rides in the weather.
Hell, I'd be surprised as hell to see the Pantera at all in even a muggy condition
If you CAN bring your car out in the rain, and don't mind, come on down.
Worse comes to worse, we can help get some input from you guys on some ideas for later weeks, and I do want to start pushing a 'Rain Date Wednesday'.
My buddy that is an 'Elk' at the Derry/Salem Elks club - he has 100+ cars every Thursday. He is going to hand out flyers this week. So there's a good chance next Monday, we'll get some good stuff!
Like I said, I don't EXPECT anyone to come out in the rain, but if you can, come on down. You can at least get a sub and talk to the rest of the
crew that shows.
Heck, there might not even BE any rain. Grand opening last year we had 3 people show for the 'car show'. And it was just muggy/misty. But obviously a '55 Caddy should not be out in damp weather, lol.
I really hope it shows signs of clearing, heck, only a week ago they said 90% chance thunderstorms, now it's down to 60% chance of showers. The storms on the radar are going BACKWARDS as per norm, instead of north eastern direction, they're all going south west... what the... lol.
Hope it works out, hope we can at least get a few guys together to maybe give some tips on how to run next Monday too!
If this gets going - we're going to make Rain Date on Wednesdays.
I have a customer that says he has a Pinto with a 351 in it... says if he still has it after Wednesday's pinks race @ NED, he'll bring it down. If he still has it - he'll have another guy's mustang to bring too, haha!- DougComment

That right there is for sure- remember, I have NEVER run anything like this myself. We're trying to get some more attention/business to the store, and in doing so would love to have a great show for people to visit. Hence, no fees for any raffles etc, it's all about publicity of the store - and giving families a great place to hang out, and motorheads a great place too!
So really - if it does rain - and we can't do anything outside... you are all welcome to come in and jot down some ideas, throw some thoughts my way etc. It's my shop - but you guys can help shape this show. If we can get it to take off - it could get to be a Monday night thing all summer, EVERY summer.
Oh and ANDY... for Texting me @ 1am... hell, normally I am awake, and you're lucky I was this time. Otherwise, chew this!
hah
