what the boat ramp like. i had to temp fix my truck so the front hubs dont halfway lock on me again so 4x4 isnt a option for this trip.

You wont need 4x4 for the ramps, you have your choice between two.

The public ramp is at the south end of the lake, about 10 minutes away. I believe they charge only on saturdays, $10 in 2006. I believe that was for both launching and taking out for $10

There is a marina just up the road from us with a ramp, they do charge to use it I believe. about 5 minutes away.

That info is for boats, are you bringing skis or a boat?

If you are bringing skis, we can get them in right where we are.

Justin, call in to work and get up here! Weather is beautiful, boat is full of fuel!!! This goes for anyone!!!!

Day two was just as awesome!! drove around the lake, went up the river to the songo locks, had a blast! Capped off the day with tubing on my boat and "ski bob-ing" on Dr. Mikes boat!!! Sad to see everyone go, Brett is due up today, and my buddy steve is here for the day as well.

CALL IN TO WORK!!! Weather is beautiful!

* Mike(Dr.Mike), Chris(Dirtbike59) and Andy(Zoom6) spent all night friday till 2 am working on the boat to bring it up here.. to then have Chris's truck breakdown in the morning, had to borrow Mikes dads to get the boat up.... on the way to maine stoped bought a new Radio for the boat, just so we could play "I'm on a Boat"...lol *

It was alot of effort and was appreciated!!

Thanks for the kind words Shawn, the boat isnt the same with only 1 Shawnpower... My buddy steve decided to go out on the tube today in 12"-14" waves... hes a hurting puppy. Sorry alex, we looked for your fuel door, its in about 20 feet of water, but with all the rainwater silt, you cant even see the anchor on the bottom. Steve and Kristen went full on Navy SEALS with flippers and masks to look!!!

Anyone with a day off, come up!!!! I have a tube, kneeboard, and skis for the boat, not to mention just coming up to relax on the water in a float!!!

Thanks Shawn(smc0922) for having us up this weekend. I had a blast and I know Andy(zoom6) and Chris(dirtbike59) did too. Kristin was unquestionably the queen of the ski-bob. I think Andy has some videos he'll be posting up. Enjoy the rest of your vacation!
