I want to get a feeler for an event idea I've been dying to implement.
2009
Summer "SURF AND TURF"
This event will consist of members and friends only. Assemble in a parking lot/beach at a local water spot (The spot will be determined by the number of "possible attendee's").
I want everyone to bring their boat, jet ski, water ski's, floaty noodles, scuba gear, Michael Phelps speedo's (Not you JJ) and whatever else you have that can be used in the water.
For those that don't have anything, bring your car, some wax, an appetite and some swimming trunks/bikini/birthday suit, whatever.
I want it to be fun for all, so even if you hate the water, can't swim, or don't even like me, you can bring your car, show it off and hang out with friends on a sunny Sunday.
I will provide the food FREE OF CHARGE to all members. I'll do my best to get one big, or at least a few small grills on site. Food will be hamburgers and hot dogs, and most likely simple soda's/water.
If you have two ski's, or a fleet of boats, bring them all. My attempt is to have as much fun without "side lining" ANYONE! I'm sure those that have no H2O toys will be more than happy to pitch in for fuel, so that should not deter anyone.
I know a lot on here have some kind of water sport toy. Even if it's your parents' toy, BRING THEM ALONG! Have your familiy meet the family.
The date is tentative as well.
