    SCCA Track Night Boston

I wanted to share this here with you guys.

Thompson is a great venue, lots of fun, well maintained and a blast to drive. These events are priced right, and the afternoon/evening schedule should help out folks who may not normally be able to make a week day event. There will be plenty of instructors on hand for folks in the novice group, and SCCA provides a great staff.

For those of you who haven't spent time on the track, you really owe it to yourselves to get out there and give it a shot. Not only will you have a blast, but you'll truly realize how much room for improvement there is.

I'll be there, and am more than willing to help out in any way I can. Before anyone steps in and says "I would but I need...", the only thing you "need" is a safe car in good working order. The only recommendation I'd make on top of this is a good (as in plenty of life) set of brake pads, and fresh brake fluid.
    Stock is boring.

@boostedeuro not sure why this is showing April; I had it set to May (or so I thought).
Anyway, this event is May 6th!

Do I need to be a SCCA member and register ahead of time or can it be done at the track?

You do not need to be a member, but you do need to pre register. I believe they will accept registrations at the gate if the event doesn't sell out.

Wish I had time to get the rabbit running. Thinking about dropping it off at Tricked Out and see if he can get it going.

Forester is going to Synergy next Friday to hopefully fix the oil leak.
