    Granite state Dyno - open house dyno day

    Thought there was a thread for this.. but don't see it.

    So today from 9-2 or so.

    I know Andy is dynoing the 335 and his brother is dynoing his new M3. Brian with the crazy sti will be dynoing(can't wait to see that) and I'm sure a bunch of other cool cars.

    I cleaned my vanos solenoids last night. Hopefully it doesn't throw a code anymore under heavy load. If that didn't fix it, the car may go into limp mode on the dyno. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

                thought the FB pic showed 295?

                        When the engine can adjust a bit to accommodate 96 octane, then it isn't such a stupid idea. 50/50 mix (without doing any math) should raise the octane from 93 to closer to 96. No, the money to power gain isn't worth it normally, but here dyno day was today, I wanted to squeeze every little HP I could get out of this car. So my reasoning was justified, not just some idiot dumping 100 octane in his car thinking it'll give him an extra 50hp.

                            but with that reasoning you should have gone on a cold day with 0% humidity also right? just for dyno numbers.
