The first thing I looked for on those cars was the chassis cert on the cage, they both did indeed have one to my amazement. Think they trap over 150 for the chute and run faster than 8.50's for the cage? Not on those tires.

The nicest car there that night was a 64 or 65 Malibu down in the corner, flawless.

Yea, they are not newly completed cars. I know for sure I have seen the maverick almost 3 years ago at target. And I have seen the challenger but can't remember when/where.
