It doesn't surprise me that you ran worse on the DR's
The track got worse and worse all day. While the sun was out, it was nice, but the sun went behind the clouds early, and stayed there.
Add to that a burnout competition that ripped all the rubber/vht off the track, and lack of late-afternoon prep, and you have a recipe for crappy racing.

I ran a 15.0 my first run because the track sucked. I was almost a full 3-second 60-foot.

my 2nd run actually surprised me with how sticky it was. I let out the clutch and only part-throttled it, expecting it to spin again. When It hooked, I was caught off-guard, and completely out of boost. I managed a 2.2 60', and the 13.8 as a result. had I known it was giong to hook, I could have shaved a bunch of time, by leaving in bewst.

My last run, I expected it to stick, and just managed to spin completely through 1st and 2nd. It didn't hook until 3rd gear, and by then it was a wasted run. only managed a 14.2@103.

Your best bet is to get there on a Wed right after a track rental. They tend to do pretty good prep for those guys. It gets eaten up pretty quick, though.

This was my last run. I wasn't wearing a helmet.
