"Steve Bucknam: Last night my friends and I from NEMotorsport.com had one of our monthly dinner meets. We chose TGI Fridays in Manchester NH for your food, availability, and overall atmosphere. We called ahead 1 day in advance and made reservations for 35-40 people for 7pm friday night. When we arrived we were seated in our own section in a timely manner, and we were assigned a waiter or waitress for every 3 tables.
The wait staff was very polite and as quick as possible for such a large group. The waiter for my table was Christopher and he was a pleasure and very helpful. The food was tasty, hot, and came in a timely manner as well.
The only damper on the entire evening was a woman who I assume was the manager on duty. She never introduced herself, but she was a shorter woman with curly blondish brown hair. While we were a large group and we were having conversations and otherwise enjoying ourselves, we were NOT overly loud and didn't appear to be bothering other patrons. Several of us noticed that she didn't appear happy with our presence, and she would look in to our section periodically with a scowl or frown but never speak to any of us.
Those actions gave the impression that we were unwelcome, which was surprising considering that our group spent well over $1,100 last evening. In today's economy I would think that a pleasant group willing to spend money would be a more welcome presence.
Our group meets for dinner once a month at various local eateries. This was our first visit to TGI Fridays as a group, and I have to say that the experience left us wondering if we'd consider TGI Fridays again.
Here is part of our group from last night. http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=199577&id=516293949#!/photo.php?fbid=495262963949&set=a.420528463949.199 577.516293949"-13 FRS

Did everyone agree on this on FB and I was just left out of the loop? Also jj only reserved for 30 the day before. At 5 that day he called and said 35-40 I believe, also we have had multiple dinner meets at tgif .
Don't mean to dwell on this but it just shocked me... I thought it went great and everyone had a great time... now we are saying we are so upset we may not come back??You ain't got no chance to beat it..like a man with no hands and a one inccchhhh .

It was all good up until the end.. that's my only gripe. I didn't hear anyone say we shouldn't go there again cause they suck. There was nothing put positive posts about it on here.

Maybe that end of the table was having issues or a bad experience that we didn't know about, is all I can think of Shawn. For the most part the middle section and far end table seem to be having a good time with no gripes that I heard of either. Hell I got there late along with othe people and they brought over other tables and made room for us so I thought the experience there was fine for me. The manager lady came over to me and said wow what I huge groupe what is this all for? I explaned it was a website for car enthusiast's that we meet up a few times a year for dinner and drinks. She thought it was pretty cool seeing everyone alng with the kids too.2006 World Rally Blue WRX Limited, VF39 334WHP/340TQ

The entire point of my post is that that woman did not make me and several others feel very warm and fuzzy.
I never said anyone sucked. In fact, I made a point to say they did a good job seating and feeding us fast and that the service was good.
I know our table commented on the dirty looks from that woman, and a few others I talked to said they had noticed it as well.
I know there had been other meets there but I didn't know the size of the groups or when, so I didn't want to exaggerate anything.
The biggest surprise to me is that there has been no response whatsoever from the Fridays page.Steve - Somersworth, NH

Also want to say that I didn't mean to step on any toes. I should have said "left SOME OF us wondering if we would return." Two words can make a big difference.
A comment was made on FB that I should have emailed or called them with my concerns, so I posted on their FB page instead.Steve - Somersworth, NH

I saw her staring. You mean the lady in the pink shirt right? I tried to say hi to her and she just walked away. I feel part of the issue was when we all stood up...i think that's looked down upon in a restauraunt. You're not supposed to treat it like a bar haha. Oh well. I tried to be on my best behaviour. I suppose the dropping of the salt shaker amongst other things might not have thrilled her.
