I know this is late notice, but I just joined here so there :P
Anyway, this Sat a few ppl from Fusion are going to the NYC Auto Show. If anyone's interested in going lemme know and I'll add you to the list. Heres the info:

Jacob Javits Convention Center 11th ave between 34 & 39 Streets
Public Show Dates
Friday April 6th through Sunday April 15th
11am - 10:30pm (Sundays: 10am - 7pm)
Now, to make it accessible to members, I'd like to plan a group trip on Sat, April 14th. The 7th is the official opening, which will probably be packed, so I'm leaning towards the 14th. We'd probably commute to the train station (I know a good one where its very safe for cars) then take the train in, and get a metrocard at Grand Central. Since it opens at 11 I figure we could catch the 9am train and have enough time to grab something to eat in the city before and afterwards. If anyone wanted to do anything else in the city, I'm open to suggestions.
Ticket from Beacon Falls to GCT is $18 one way (off peak) x2=36 + 14 admission=50
So, $50 to get into NY, see the show, then get back home, plus cost of food and whatever else, still not bad. Who wants to go?

EDIT: Ok so this is a few days away, we gotta figure out which train we're gonna take. The station is Beacon Falls straight down RT 8. It's a very small station in a two road town, a safe place to leave cars. It's the station that I almost always go to when I go to the city, I went to the Waterbury one once and my mom's friend got her plate stolen
Anyway, there's two trains in the morning that run from Beacon falls to GCT, one at 7:35 that gets to GCT at 9:40 and the other at 11:36 that gets to GCT at 1:40PM. I plan on being out late on Friday so I'd rather go on the later train, but what do you guys wanna do?
Please let me know ASAP so I can put out the official word, thanks.
